Drystone Stage

No other festival we know has anything like the Drystone Stage. Hosted by the legendary Wizzardmarra, a man as old and rugged as the Lakeland hills which form the backdrop to his stage, the Drystone programmes acts who make you want to pause and watch. These aren't always the big name acts, - Although Wiz always makes sure there are some of them. These are the acts who we find at other festivals, parties, events, or sometimes just busking on a street corner who really make you say Wow! They may be musicians, comedians, Storytellers or just people with something important to say. You may not necessarily have heard of them, but without exception they have talent by the bucketload.

Forget the X Factor, if you want to hear great new live music performed by the artists who wrote it, then the Drystone Stage is the only place to be.
